A free Temp-Mail alternative with your own domain
Temp-Mail (temp-mail.org) gives you a free disposable address in one click. That works for throwaway sign-ups, but the domains are shared and many sites block them. Free Domain Mail lets you use the same kind of throwaway address on a domain you own, in a private inbox.

From shared temp mail to your own domain
- Add a domain you own. A cheap spare domain works well; you keep your registrar.
- Add two DNS records. A TXT record proves ownership and an MX record sends mail to mx.freedomainmail.com.
- Make up an address. shop@yourdomain.com, newsletter-x@yourdomain.com: every address receives mail with nothing to create first.
- Read it privately. Only your account sees the inbox, on the web or through the API.

When Temp-Mail is enough
For a single throwaway sign-up where you do not care who else might see the message, a shared temp address is fine. The free temp mail on our homepage does the same job.
When a site refuses temp-mail domains, when you may need the account again, or when the code must stay private, use an address on a domain you own. Your domain is not a shared temp-mail domain, so it is not on public disposable-domain lists.
How we compared
Temp-Mail details come from its FAQ, API and Premium pages (temp-mail.org/en/faq, temp-mail.org/en/api and temp-mail.org/en/premium), read on 8 October 2026. Plans and prices change, so check their site before you decide. Free Domain Mail is not affiliated with Temp-Mail; Temp-Mail is a trademark of its owner.
Common questions
What is the difference from Temp-Mail?
Temp-Mail is built around shared disposable domains. Free Domain Mail also offers that on the homepage, but its main product is a private catch-all inbox on a domain you own.
Can sites still block my domain?
A site can block any domain it chooses. Your own domain is not on public disposable-domain lists, but some sites also check where a domain's mail is handled, so a block is still possible.
Can I keep using the domain for normal email?
Only if you move that email elsewhere. The MX record decides where mail goes, so many people use a spare domain or a subdomain.
Is it free?
The homepage temp mail is free. The first custom domain is free too; additional domains are billed per domain.
