Delete your account
How to delete your Free Domain Mail account and its data, in the app or on the web, and what is removed.
Delete it in the app
Open the Free Domain Mail app, go to Settings, tap Delete account and confirm. Password accounts enter their password first. Accounts created with Google or Apple do not need one.
Delete it on the web
Sign in at https://freedomainmail.com/app, open Account and choose Delete account, then confirm.
What is deleted
Deletion takes effect immediately. We delete your addresses, all stored mail, your custom domains, your API keys, your push notification devices and your sign-in links, together with the account email and password hash. This cannot be undone.
Address names you held stay locked for 90 days so nobody else can take over an address that other services may still send to.
Cannot sign in?
Email support@freedomainmail.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. Mail on public temporary addresses needs no account and is deleted automatically after 10 minutes.
Retention and limits
Free Domain Mail only receives email — it never sends or forwards mail on your behalf. Mail to public temporary addresses is deleted after 10 minutes; addresses a free member holds keep mail for 7 days, and custom-domain mail is kept for 30 days. Attachments are never stored, only their name, size and type.
